• UPS Capital Business Credit is a robust participant in the U.S. Small Business Administration's (SBA) Preferred Lender Program (PLP), which enables participating lenders to drastically reduce the amount of time it takes to approve SBA 7(a) loans for small businesses from weeks to just days. Under the SBA program, a business can apply for a SBA loan of US$250,000 to US$4 million, and benefit from SBA loan advantages such as longer terms, no points and no balloon payment. UPS Capital Business Credit is a PLP participant in the SBA's 75 districts covering all of the contiguous United States and has consistently been a leading lender in the SBA's 7(a) loan program and, for fiscal year 2005, closed 248 SBA transactions valued at more than US$153 million.
